We met you in Mulege at this hotel thanks for the picture of our bikes as we have greatly enjoyed your ride report..

San Francisquito morning game face? This is 2 weeks or so ahead in the story but maybe its good to put some faces in.While the Oso Loco crew were doing thier morning bike prep we were slacking. After some pm's to KustomizingKid it was found that we would cross paths in Cabo.I invited him to stay at my timeshare in Cabo.Link to KK'S RR http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=941239

On to Loreto.I filled up with gas here and had my last home grown orange, cliff bar and beef jerky on the malecon. This was on my list of towns to check out for a bit.

On the highway south of Loreto I found a pull off on the road to grab a pic of the Sea of Cortez and spotted this nice motorhome.I didnt bother waking up the owner.

I gassed up in Loreto and hit Hwy 1.I kind of gave up on dirt for awhile-I was riding alone and wanted to be in Cabo the next day.The Cuidad Constsitution area is kind of boring. Its basically a big flat agricultural area.I didnt really put too much thought into where I was going to stay.I ended up bush camping just out of Puerto Chale.I got this nice sunset pic there.

After a breakfast of water, cliff bar,and kirkland beef strips I got back on the road and my last day to Cabo. After that shot of the sunset my camera batteries were gone.Stopped at a little store for more water and batteries in Santa Rita.Next stop La Paz.

Coming into La Paz I spotted a Vips restaurant.Kind of like a mexican Denny's.It was about 10:30 am so brunch sounded good. Thanks to my no tailight/sleep where it got dark problem I skipped dinner the night before.I was trying to watch the road signs out of town for highway bcs 286.I wanted to ride the east cape into Cabo.I got lucky and hit the correct highway.

I got to my timeshare on time -about 5 pm.1 of the reasons I bought this place was to use it for a turn around spot for a full Baja ride. The day was saturday jan 25.KustomizingKid should be here on tuesday afternoon. The name of the resort is Hacienda del Mar.I had saved a set of clean clothes for dinner upon arrival. The shower was great.I got kind of trashed at the bar and forgot to sign my tab.A week off before heading back will be good.Maybe do this again next year.

The view from Baja Ho's roof of Lands End in Cabo. His roof would be an awesome place for tent space.

Great

Great report and pics. What do you think of the issues with bandits and all the drug and gang problems in Mexico? Do you think that is a serious issue for Baja riders to consider?
