G'day all, seems like there is a few interested so i will have to go pre ride it and check its all good so we are not turning around all over the place and make sure its ok for all sorts of bikes and riders. Might have to be between 4-5 weeks away now.

Hi Doug, I'll have to buy a drz 400 for these longer rides or you'll have to wait for me to do a oil and tyre change halfway through. Let me know the dates when you tee it up. Don't go anywhere near water incase rick feels the need for a swim. Yuuuuuuuk!

Looks like I picked the wrong time to remove the off-road bits from the Strom. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what the plan ends up being. Keen to start getting out on some interesting rides after quite a while just pounding the bitumen but I'd need to arrange new tyres, fit the off-road bits back on the bike etc. so not sure if I'll be ready in time for this one.

Haven't been on any ADV rides before - assume newcomers are welcome?
