Bikes stolen - Carolina KTM

Folks,
Talking to Scott today of Carolina KTM in Mooresville, NC and he said 6 new bikes still in crates were taken from his place last night. I had asked about the new 690 R (one of them taken) when he advised. So keep an eye out!

Wow. Rotten thieves. I hate that for Scott. Do you have a list of the bikes stolen?

No, he said he has to get the VIN #s for insurance info. All I know is one was a 690R.

Hi, I am a Detective with the Iredell County Sheriffs Office in Statesville NC. This is a heads up for everyone, and a request for any assistance. On the evening of Wednesday, February 19th 2014, unknown suspect(s) stole the following 2014 model year bikes from Carolina KTM of Mooresville, NC.

200 XCW - last six of VIN 111263, last six of motor serial 436758

250 SX - last six of VIN 210588, last six of motor serial 859016

300 XCW - last six of VIN 342806, last six of motor serial 959405

350 XCFW - last six of VIN 211338, last six of motor serial 550993

690 Enduro - last six of VIN 761749, last six of motor serial 36401

690 Duke - last six of VIN 761203, last six of motor serial 011728

These bikes are new. If you come across anyone attempting to sell similar bikes, and you are inclined to think that things may be suspicious, please feel free to forward any information to me here on this forum.
This type of crime hurts not only the original victim, but potentially anyone who may later unwittingly buy a stolen bike. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hate that happened.

The list and being new would lead me to believe that they are headed out of the country. Anything with a street title will be hard to move as a whole bike.

Hope they catch them.

Any updates?

I saw a RacerX-online notice about this on Facebook over the weekend.

The same thing happened the other year at a small KTM dealer in Columbia. They stole a nearby U-hall truck to load all the dirt bikes that were on the show room floor into.
