Going down hwy. 25 it's 8 miles from the Del Rio PO to the Bridgeport Mkt...they sell beer and gas. That's probably going to be the closest place to get both.

About 11.5 miles down there is a Food City that has gas, and probably a fair selection of beers other than the Nascar type.

Only 4 miles down is this place... www.bobarosasaloon.com

Thanks Ralph!

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy...

I was driving Donkeys ural at last year's event, shutting people and kegs of beer around the campsite. Nothing new there.

Well, we hauled kegs in it last year. Do we really need more?

KTM MIKE'S FRIDAY OCTOBER 3rd RIDE Weather Permitting:

SAFETY IS FIRST: Please, no crazy stuff, no tailgating. Ride at your own safe pace, someone will be waiting at the next turnoff.

RIDING TOGETHER: If the guy in front of you stops, please stop with him, and everyone behind you will stop too, then the leaders will return.
This way breakdowns will not end in chaos. This ride will move fairly quickly, but it is not a race. Work together.

DEPARTURE: MEET 930am, at the entrance to Campground. DEPARTURE 945am

BIKES: Supermotos, Adventure Bikes, Dualsports (You will need some ground clearance for the rocky steep stuff. No cruisers, no dressers, no elephants)

TIRES: Dualsport Tires (Street Tires OK if conditions are dry. Knobbies not necessary)

TIRE REPAIR: Please bring your own tire repair materials.

ROADS: paved ROADS, gravel ROADS, rocky steep ROADS.

FUEL: Please fill up your fuel tank the night before. Your range should be at least 80 miles. Please bring cash for gas because many rural gas stations do not accept credit or debit cards.

LUNCH: Carry snacks & drink in case of delays. We will try to stop someplace quick & not fancy around lunchtime IF that turns out to be possible.

SPLITTING EARLY: If you decide to return to camp early, stop and tell the sweep. Bring maps so you can find your way back.
