ERE109's Xmx Party

Hear Ye, Hear Ye,
You are cordially invited to the grandest winter celebration of them all: the ere109 Xmx Party, an extraordinary gala, to be held on December 20, 2014 (Dysco's birthday). This evening of Holiday festiveness is open to all who've known, ridden, or would like to know ere109, as long as you're merry-makers and well-doers (crooks, murderers and jerk-offs need not attend).
In true royal style, food, drink and company will be provided. Bring your own cheer. Nothing else is required of you, though you're welcome to bring a bag of gold, or a favorite seasonal delicacy to pass. You may also bring a gift, of around $10 value, to participate in the gift exchange. In addition:
Also, if you brew beer, bring some to share; if you make t-shirts, bring one; if you play an instrument, feel free to serenade us; if you make sweet, sweet love to the ladies, bring your own.
We also celebrate people. If you've got a significant other, bring them; if you've got kids, bring them; if you're on the prowl, bring your game (as long as you're not on the prowl for kids).
The celebration kicks off, casually, around 7 p.m., and will quickly warm to inferno strength, blazing hottest around midnight, turning to ashes by 3 a.m. - UNLESS you're one of the insightful few who brings overnight gear (all are welcome), in which case the party concludes after breakfast the following day.

Highlights (for those unwilling to read such a tome):
* Dec. 20, 2014 @ 7 p.m.
* 20 gallons of homebrew (bring some, if you desire)
* Tables of amazing food (including yours!)
* Gift exchange, $10 value

* Corner of 36th & Garfield St. Denver

It's about 30 days away, and I don't know what I'll be doing tomorrow, but it's time we made this.

Thanks!

You'll need to bring some 1" steel tubing. Once we get enough, we'll start welding.

I like Hellsickle's idea. Or put a crash test dummy in your chair, then kiss the plane goodbye and welcome a life of relaxation with open arms.

Why use CDTs when autopilot technology has been around for quite some time.

That Otto... helluva guy. And I really appreciated the way Julie found his 'nozzle'........

Just trust Otto, friend, and back a parachute. I'll set off some bottle-rockets to home-in on.

It'll be his first day, of a dramatically new life... so I'll try to keep the kindness on full-boil, and drama at a minimum.

I think I would like to attend, but will probably not make it to midnight.

20 gallons of homebrew might be about right if all 800 lurkers of this thread are there.

I'm on the fence. Trying to make it through year #4 booze free.

Ditto. I've gone one week now, Dr. order. Just temporary.

Ethan, my son is due to arrive home that night so it looks unlikely that we will be able to attend.

Here's a picture from his recent office party holiday camping trip.

Jeff - it's the all expense paid vacations to the wrong place at the wrong time that are really fun. I've had a few.
