I thought this ride was supposed to be a, "Bring your shit, on your bike, have gas, Forgot something? Tough shit!" ride..

Hey, LaurieD, can you take all of my camping & fishing gear to Lodore and Echo so I don't have to actually ride with it? Cool, thanks I'll still need a good cutting board for the fish. That'd be greaaaat....

Certainly not certified but it carries gas fine, no leaks, no punctures, and gets real small when empty. IT DOES LEAK VAPOR SO PACK IT OUTSIDE YOUR NORMAL GEAR.

Probaly a real good idea to never use it for water afterwards either

I freaked out about gas last year. It was never really a big deal. But I also get 65MPG, to bad the tank is 2.4 gallons.

That bag certainly helped me ride easy.
Thanks! you just saved me $200 and 10+ lbs off my setup. I think I'll put the dromedary in the tank bag with other bike stuff, tool kit on the front fender, camping gear/food on the rear rack, and water in my camelbak. Even with all that crap, my little titter should only weigh 340 or so fully loaded.

And try not to wind up on this thread-

The days can be long, dawn to dusk of riding, with a short lunch break. The "break out of this crap to pavement for easier travel" can be tough to find, as the area is quite remote.
