I grew up in the dallas area, used to do a ton of riding at red river and the Texoma area. Loved it, but it was always so damn hot!

I thought it's you Ian but I don't recognize the bike. Bringing the Stelvio or this one? Will be good to meet up again.

An old fart checking in

Got room for another in the Pro Leisure Tour?

Do you think a KLR on Kenda 270's can make it if the rider is determined?

Hopefully, as we'll be on whatever the new GS will be delivered with (likely very street oriented).

Just to change things up abit, the route north from my house will have one change, north side of Fortification Rocks this year, so the blue route on the north hitting that east west red, the rest will be the same into Maybell.

Now this is where I am not sure, so many to choose from.

Last Year we followed the long blue one, but now I am looking at the turquise option. As well as the purple and yellows in that lower middle section. There are about 200 sq miles in that screen shot(20 x10 miles)Guess that gives me an excuse to go ride this weekend! I will make sure it is bike bike friendly, or at least give you a bailout! Now if any of you other hooligans want to come out and ride some of the great unknown of NW Colorado. Let me know. I am planning a few Sundays in March and a couple camping trips in April. May will be booked with getting the house ready for graduation. FYI I also have 175 sick days built up... The black is some awesome single track!
If you have time, go there on Google Earth and check it out, West of Maybel on 318. Sandwash Basin OHV. Some of the last open(no closure sign OK to ride) riding in the west.

Hey, I thought that hill was a great opportunity to get off the bike for a bit, stretch the old legs, get to know your fellow rider better and practice my sand castle building technique.
Bring it on!
