Been to that island, too. Most of them, in fact. Lucinda's not at all tempting in his/her current persona.

The LARR would be far more appealing were it located in, say, the Washington North Cascades rather than someplace ridiculously far away (to a confirmed homebody like myself). You'll have noticed I'm not volunteering. That's because I lack the requisite adventurous spirit.

best,

Mark

Good to see the banter, bullshit, and insult throwing is still alive and well! Hell, I might even make the 8,000 mile round trip just to see Lucinda and Bman go at it.

See all you douchebag internet jockeys later, I'm going riding…..

….in backcountry AK, good times.

Every once in a while I have to remind you FF's that disorganization is needed in order to make this the disaster it doesn't have to be.

I have a good spot to put it on in NE Oklahoma on either the 1st or 2nd weekend after Labor Day this September. Need to get ahold of Ken and see which would be the best weekend for him.

I suck at making plans much in advance Let me know what works or the weekend and I can make it happen.

I might have to drive. Tonight I hit a deer. Broken scapula, rib, and C7. (I'm in an ambulance now. They're transferring me from the Richland Center hospital to the Level 1 trauma center in Madison.(

You are way too connected to be riding in an ambulance posting on adv, seems a lucky thing that you are able to Best of luck for a quick recovery. I've been lucky only to hit the little ones myself, knock on wood. Welcome to the deer slayer club

Yes, connected.

Broken shoulder blade, one broken rib, fractured C7.

The Rallye Pro jacket, aerostich AD1 pants, aerostich elk skin gloves, full face helmet, sidi discovery boots saved my skin and my life.

Wow Bman, thanks for taking the lead this year on body abuse. The 5+ broken ribs, 2 compressed vertebrae and broken scapula crashing the goldwing is what kept me from coming last year. Maybe the 2 broken guys can drive there and drink beer together.

It started out as just me and Nata Garlic riding in Central America. Ken was riding up from Panama. Barb and I were riding down. We were going to have a beer.

This was in the old days when the Latin America forum was brand new and nobody kept track of us.

And we first called it a rallye for North America or US based Latin America riders.
