Got my fuel injectors back for the GSA, installed went for a 60 mile ride...still need a TB sync. Anyone know what a shop charges for a sync or is it cheaper to go buy a Twinmax?

If you are into DIY then do something like this

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0nKaGEMLZjs

My dad built one of these, the stand was from a reindeer christmas card holder that my mom had stopped using, which adds a laugh. Use a vicious fluid and be sure not to blow it into your engine. Works awesome on his 1150 and my 1200.

Added a functional, but hopefully never needed, accessory this evening.

Haven't done it yet, but found a pipe from a WR450F on Craigsthief today. Waiting to hear back, as it would not only fit the Katoom better, but also weigh much less.

A fire extinguisher, really? That will only be of use if someone else's bike is on fire, right? And a chrome one no less.

Yeah, knowing CPR is useless, too. Benefit of the doubt here. I'm sure you weren't trying to be a dick.

Oh, & it's not chrome dumbass. It's polished aluminum. Do try to pay attention to hot rod accessories.

I've seen bikes burn down. If I'm around when you happen to be so unfortunate...........................

FWIW, Beaches Brass & Polish could give you matching panniers.

Remember that Harley that we saw burn and explode on I-10? Bet that dude was thinking, "if I had only packed a fire extinguisher!"

Yea, and the whole bike burnt to the ground.

Unless he wanted to be well done along with the bike, the fire extinguisher would have probably been useless.

If you feel safer carrying a fire extinguisher, more power to you. i always carry a pink rabbit's foot with me on all rides in hopes to find the roads/trails... at least within 50miles or so

Now if your bike is on fire and your buddy has an extinguisher, that is useful. Knowing these FFs he will pull out the camera first, and put you out when he is done laughing.

Tesla should make a bike, what fun that would be!
