Sportbike rider had a funny shirt on

My brother was taking me to the shop to pick up my bike and on the road was a guy cruising by on a sportbike. He had a bright neon yellow/green shirt that read "Can you see me now ASSHOLE?".

I started laughing but that feeling happens all too often when someone pulls out or cuts you off.

I like the bumper sticker that says "If you can read this I'm about to brake check you."

Rest assured that in the event of a traffic incident, the other driver's lawyer would be most appreciate of your making his job easier for him by displaying such messages. He'd tell the jury that your t-shirt or bumper sticker speaks to intent. It would be an uphill battle for you to argue that it didn't.

What?

And what exactly is the "intent" behind wearing a HiViz shirt with any message on it? Somehow this proves you "intended" to make a car turn in front of you?

I kinda doubt that with the tee... bright yellow... "couldn't see him" ain't gonna cut it. Seems that is one of the most visible colors there are - attention getting.

It should be really obvious how a lawyer in court would spin either as indicative of intent. Note that I said "incident." Wearing a shirt calling the person reading it an asshole looks like an attitude problem to a lot of people in this world. As for the bumper, be my guest to put on your car or bike and brake check somebody and get hit. Let us know how that turns out for you.

The only persons who'd be insulted by that shirt would be genuine assholes to begin with. Ever hear "if the shoe fits, wear it"? It wouldn't bother me a bit.

I don't have a lot of love for toffee-nosed horsey people. They foul the roads and it's a hazard.

Meh... That shirt would not be visible if you're riding in proper gear anyway.
Unless you're the All The T-shirts All The Time type.

True but the op said a sport bike rider. I'd say 90% of them prefer t shirts and flip flops for their gear

I notice they sell it in a 3XL size, I might just have to buy one. It should fit over my jacket
