You know Smurph if you would have kept that back alley shoveled like you usually do you may not have had to do all that Ice breaking.

haha!! Tyler and I kept it pretty clear except for where the drain was. The earlier January melt really screwed things up. Then after returning from the bike show in Vancouver, I was in such a depressed state I stopped shoveling everything. I had enough. It was time to move West.

But then I bought 6 bottles of assorted scotch, started taking Vitamin D and then spring arrived. All is good again. haha.

Just glad I can get the bike out finally. And maybe get that ugly-god-awful-euro-trash bike out of my garage as well.

Great to see you here, my friend. I look forward to catching up and riding.

Jealousy is green and doesn't look good on a blue smurph

Aside from a couple days, I would say we're in the clear. Blue fingers crossed.

Your title makes a good point Ryan. On the "site that shall not be named" I was known as StromIan. My presence here long predates me having a VStrom, and so here I'm FJRian.

Louise is more consistent than I am - her handle is APerfectStrom here on ADVrider as well.

I'm hoping some of the crazies follow us - Like this guy ...

Oh wait, Dan posted on this thread already ...

Or this guy ...

Oh wait, that was Smurf - he's already here ...

Or maybe I'm one of the crazies to which Ryan refers to ...

I guess some of the crazies followed already!

Saw a guy on cruiser travelling westbound on the southern leg of the Henday this afternoon. I just bought a heated jacket liner in anticipation. Come on spring!!!

Hey Ryan! You hit the nail on the head, my friend. It was getting way too Third Reich for me. Bug out.

Where did you get it? Rob just bought one too. I think that's a great idea. Always get just a little too chilled coming through some of the passes. A heated anything would be great.

Ian, you bastard. Now i'm searching for pics.... :)

It's nice to have a place where what we ride or what we think(of others)(lol) is not under the ever-seeing eye of the hardcore Purists. Take BigDan for example: he has a Harley. We all feel sorry for him but we accept him. OldMedic isn't all there, but we accept him. Smurph isn't blue, but still we have a place for him.
Just saying...

Yeah, we've got all kinds around here. This place will only add to our group of nut jobs. I'm trying to break away a little early today so I can finish getting the bike set up. Wish me luck

It's a shame you'll have a flat tire on the FJ by 1:30.
