May 2,3,4th

My buddy and I are likely heading up to the Grundy Lake hwy 522 area on May 2,3,4th for some riding. We usually make the trip 2-3 times a year. If anyone want to meet up for some trail riding that weekend let me know. We could set something up.

Id' be in for that, except I'll be down in WV that weekend. I'm guessing that that area is pretty sloppy that time of year.

heheh.. Grundy Lake.. site of the Mtn. House Freeze Dried Strogonoff Bomb.

I began my 2014 riding season today, completed 120 km on old highway 17 out to Whitefish and back in around Sudbury...Beautiful. Very cautious with my first time out, all the gravel and my new K60 on the front position. Bike feels fantastic!

Weather doesn't look too promising over the next week, however lets try to hook up at some point?

Ride on

I took the KTM out today as well for a few hours this afternoon. Man does that thing ever go, I had a dumb grin plastered on my face for... hold on, I still have it

I'll definately need to get a new seat foam or something sorted out asap, since I think that thing is actively trying to break me in two.

What type of 'trail riding'? What bikes are you riding?

I'm running xr650r or my crf450x my buddy runs klr650 or klx300r.
Like running dirt roads or open single track. We are open for dirt with some highway. I expect limiting factor to be the mud.

In North Bay on 950 would be interest in rides that are mostly dirt roads then paved.
I would have bought BMW if I was to ride on pavement.

I'm in North Bay and I resemble that comment, some adventures are longer than others, once into the mudpuddle is not near long enough. Some good long stretches of gravel makes me happy

Dying to try out my brand new Triumph Tiger 800xc

Also waiting for this damn snow to go away. Never done this before, how do we go about organizing an initial ride ? I am interested in some light off road riding, dirt roads, pavement etc... I am up for anything.

I was thinking 2 or 3 hours at most initially, I need to get familiar with the new bike. How about a ride to Killarney perhaps on the Easter weekend? weather permitting of course.

I am in for that... anytime as long as I am off, I am always up for a ride lol... I already have about 300ks. I bought a 2012 ktm 990 adventure. And I am in the same boat.. this is new to me, haven't tried it off road yet.
