coming up to big nickel on friday

I'm heading to Sudbury on Friday. Just wondering if the lakes are clear of ice yet?

Some of the lakes are clear, but lakes that don't flow are still mostly frozen I think.

Also, here's a few pics from a ride last week when the weather was nice. I'm loving the 690, can't wait to put some kms on it this summer, I'll just need to get a better seat before then... I swear the stock seat is actively trying to split me in two

Living in Chemy right now, don't judge me. Lol.

Anybody up for a spirited dirt ride up to Timmins once the roads and poleline are clear of ice and snow?

Sometimes we just go to Shinning Tree and back after a bite at Three Bears but the good ride is one day up to Timmins to stay at Post 392 and then back the next day. If everybody is on singles we can run up the poleline. The big bikes have a better time on the logging roads.

I did this ride a while back with a friend. We parked at Joel's farm and left from there. Highlight of my season it was. And you guys up there get to go almost whenever you feel like it. That's good living.

Count me in on a ride up to Timmins. I was already considering heading up through that way to Cochran for business, who needs a reason to take two wheels versus four!

Let's see how the weather develops and set a time and place, and then make it happen!
Cheers

I stopped in at GoJo's last night on my 525 and he remembers that ride with you and the one in Mattawa. He's taking possession of a brand new 500EXC sometime this week so he'll be itching to do a break-in run soon.

I heard from Hauler that the whole VBS has 500's. Wow man, you live in paradise and you're all rich

Ride safe boys!

Hauler and GoJo are on 5honeys, I'm still rockin' my 05 525, at least for this year. I've ridden the 500 but the old girl still puts a smile on my face. And besides, when I put my head down neither of them can catch me on the fire roads anyway.

I'm in for Sunday. Demo rides at Northstar on Friday (Kawasaki) and Saturday (Honda). Saturday I've got some work to get done. Trying to keep the dance card free for Sunday.
