Talking

Worst thing for me is:

When meeting strangers / someone new, and it is revealed somehow that you ride, they seem to automatically:

1.) Perceive you as Crazy for doing such a "dangerous" thing.

2.) Stereo-type you as a tattoo laden pirate, fringe wearin' Hollywood prototype "Biker".

3.) Assume you are irresponsible, rebellious, evil, etc.

My response? Usually I merely zone out, think about where I'm riding to next, and when I see lips stop moving, I walk away and look for someone else to talk with.

When you think about it... that's not all that bad if it's the "worst" thing!

The worst thing for me is getting some type of flying insect inside my helmet. Im constantly thinking what if this damn thing flies up my nose or in my eye WTF am I gonna do then.
God forbid if its a bee Id look like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy

Thinking what a stud I am for starting an all day ride, and then getting off with Montie Burns' body.

Having to get off the bike at the end of a trip knowing I must wait x months before another good trip.

The worst thing about riding is definitely stopping, whether fire the day or the season. It sucks.

worst

When someone you know or Love is hurt badly on one, through no fault of their own. Just some dipshit in a car who can't get their hands off their phone or someother distraction.

I have to agree. The worst thing is looking at the space where someone should be riding, and isn't.

That moment on a ride when you turn back for home. Even if it's thousands of miles and days away.

When it's 10 degrees out and snowing in mid march and you've only been able to look at your motorcycles for the last 4.5 months, knowing you have thousands of miles of twisty, hilly fire roads right out your front door. Is it Spring yet?!?

I'm surprised nobody's brought up Monkey Butt, Helmet Hair, or Bug Teeth.
