I only have 2 or 3. I'll get a few posted a little bit later tonight.

Cheers,
VM

Thought I'd also post an upclose pic of the fasteners that fix the adventure powerparts skid plate to the mount bar. Ome of the other inmates posted a pic of his installed that was pretty spooky, in that there was essentially 2mm of clearance between the bolt ends and his case. Mine has plenty of clearance.

The heated seat helped in the freezing super wet conditions yesterday.

After going out of my way round trip 90 miles (to a dealer who was unable to put my bike on the table to run a diagnostic on the outdoor temp sensor failure that ultimately caused the bike to throw a "service" alert), I found a fantastic dealer in Greensboro, NC called Kevin Powell Motorsports. James, the service guy I was referred to, is a great guy, really in tune with people who are out on the road, made time for the diagnostic work, even though they too are super busy.

Jason, the wrench working on the bike is an equally great guy, and is working with a senior North America KTM wrench out of Ohio, on figuring out what is happening.

Fault root cause analysis ongoing, but I'm happy I ended up here to get it looked at!

So, turns out that somewhere, somehow, during the manufacturing process, the air temperature sensor was cut nearly in half. It was initially still reading because the two severed wires were more or less contacting one another.

Jason took one off a new bike to get me rolling sans fault codes, as nobody has any real spares inventory yet, since the model is so new.

That is one killer looking bike. Glad you got the fault code issue straightened out.

Happy trails!

PS. I'm super jealous at how comfy that seat looks.

Thanks for the comment XC Rider. With 1500 miles over the last few days, I'm really liking the way it moves, and responds to most rider input. The ergonomics are better for my riding style than with my 1150GSA. The GSA is by far a more plush ride. Still haven't had time to put the Ohlins on the GSA, so I'm pumped to see how that changes the feel of the GSA.

Need some off road, unloaded time to see how the WP OEM suspension on the 1190R behaves.

Interesting story on a high speed tank slapper this morning coming at the end of riding day.
