Opinion Needed on Purchase, Haven't had a GS in 2 Years

Sold my 05' GS back in 2012 and have gone through 6 or 7 different style bikes since. The verdict is back, the GS was the best and I want another.

Would inmates buy this? I think I've got him down as far as possible on price.

2008 BMW GSA
Factory LED driving lights
Jesse Saddlebags
Front and Rear Sargent Heated Seats
VStream Windshiled
Tank Bag
Skid Plate
Center Stand Skid Plate
Crash Bars
Piston Covers
17K Miles

Has original seats and windshield too.

$10,500

Any opinions are much appreciated. It seems like a great deal to me.

BUY IT! and go riding, you are wasting precious time!

Sounds like a good deal. I've seen, better, I think it's about 1,500 higher than others I've seen at that price. Similar mileage, farkles...

To get an average mean buying price I take the retail KBB price subtract the KBB trade in price this gives the difference between the two prices. Divide the difference in half and add that back to the trade in price.
When I do that with your model with ABS & ASC I get a price $11670. 00.

I think you are getting a good price especially with the Jesse's and extra's this price you are getting is more in line with the standard GS model and this is a ADV.

Go for it and quick before the season changes.

Buy it. It looks like a fair price for a bike with such low mileage . There is plenty to like with the 08 GSA as bmw significantly upgraded the bike for that year. And it is loaded with stuff you need.

$1,500!?!?!? Wow. That's crazy. Is that from an auction? Trade in at a dealer? I check CL multiple times Dailey and never see anything close to that. Heck, this guy is asking $12k. Maybe I ought to rethink this if there are those kinds of deals out there. I'm not against doing a fly and ride to SF. Every time in check that area they are super expensive though.

Good deal but........

I just love the Adventure GS's, extra gas and extra's built in. If the GSA does not interest you three great things about this bike: better seat and Jesse bags and he did not put on miles!!

Enjoy it, you can put 40,000 miles on it and sell it for $7,500!

I'm also looking and the OP in the link above. Beyond MHO that these bikes are expensive to begin with - $10,500 seems like a decent price from what I have been seeing others listed for and beleive me I have checked a lot of listings !

Looks like a very good price on a nicely equipped bike.
