Bluhduh Help I just looked at a 2014 Supa Ten

Friggen Yamaha has done it. More power, electronic suspension and a real cruise control...

Dammit...

I am thinking of a Tenere also.
Can't decide how much in dollars the new improved version is worth over a new 13 that are available at many dealers at discount prices.
Round figure is about 2500 but would need to ride them back to back to determine the real value of the differences.
How much more power?
What is the major change that you like the most?

I like the adjustable suspension as the biggest change (my 2012 has plenty of power) and the cruise control a close second. I never did any power improvements and have no intention to do so.

Electronic Suspension is huge, CC should be standard on all these FBW bikes.

Good looking bike for sure.

Do they have anymore? No one else seems to be reporting any in the USA.

I have been flip flopping about when to pull the trigger on this bike for months. This thread isn't helping. - FYI- all my bikes and guitars are now for sale. ;)

Btw-Congrats!

It's definitely awesome and hope it works out for you!

I'm heading in the same direction but I just can't make up my mind whether to go ES or non ES, but the cruise control is a must for me either way. Though there are deals to be had on '13's, I'm definitely going to hold out for the '14.

Cool2 If you do pull the trigger full review please

Wow - I am really leaning on spending extra to get 14. For me it is Cruise, heated grips, better power delivery, electronic suspension, then better and more adjustable wind protection - plus it is a 2014 :-)

My dealer (Rapid City, SD) called this morning; my blue 2014 standard model arrived today. It kind of took me by surprise as the Yamaha website shows April availability. I still need to de-farkle my 2012 as I'm trading it in. They can wait a little while.

Congrats! I'm glad to see that '14's are finally starting to flow here in the U.S. That news is kind of taking me by surprise as well because I was going to sell a couple of my bikes to raise cash instead of trading and I thought that I had a month or so buffer.

For best results after looking at a s10' rince eyes with water for about 30 min. If dilusions continue, seek medical help!
