So who is in and what do you think?

Hey, when we were talking about my problems bleeding the brakes of my Cavalcade, someone mentioned 1-way check valves to replace the bleeders on the calipers. Are these it? If they work as advertised, that's awesome. This brake job has continued to kick my ass.

Those should work just fine in my mind, its just a simple check valve If you don't figure it out just let me know & we'll chat about it at the next meet up.

I have used the speed bleeders on all my Mazda's, the bikes too with excellent results.
But, on a bike the bleed nipples are so close to you that using the SB's really is not necessary. Be sure to bleed the master too.

Another round?

We still on for tomorrow at 5:30? I'm planning on it!

Possibly bad form to post in another brew-pub's meet-up, but I'm considering a ride down to the new Buoy Beer Company in Astoria on Sunday, 27APR. Researching routes to see if the forestry roads are open between here and there. Maybe something vaguely like this? Any interest?

You probably won't make it too far north on Fossil Cr Rd it's all gated WeyCo, Hancock etc private forest land. Stay on 14 east to 411 then head north. Lots of options there. Your route is a big bite for a day ride. Have fun!

Good deal, Dorian. Thanks! Yeah, immediately after announcing that I was looking at that ride, I saw the Capitol Forest thing. Something tells me, CF will be more fun if I can get in on that. Plus it's local. Astoria will still be there waiting...

Great to see the crew at Harmon last night! Definitely plotted some destinations on the map. High desert down around Alvord Lake / Steens Mountain is definitely on the list!
