Jeff, called your buddy Pete about the KLR250 shock. He might even have one laying around. Gonna talk to him some more tomorrow and see where I can take this thing. Thanks for the connection!

Hood River?

Hey, is this the Hood River ride we were talking about with Black Dog, 14-15JUN? Not bad for $75 and not so far away (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ho...59,-121.557412)

Gotta read more and see if I'd survive it on my (vastly superior to anything orange) big GS.

Yep, that is the ride. We are all signed up and ready to rock. I survived last year and you know what I ride so your vastly superior big GS should have no problems at all.

I should be there but maybe a little late. Mrktm it looks like your drinking some of that fine 2012 barrel aged Stryker Stout that is on tap right now

Dammit! 1st & 3rd Wednesday, not "every other Wednesday"!!! We got a freebie last week and I missed it. What a turd. What's worse, I think I recruited several new guys to show up this week. LOL!

Hey, you guys go anywhere in particular to dispose of tires locally? I mean...I could just roll them down the hill, but I want to at least consider doing the right thing.

I changed both tires on that Suzuki Cavalcade yesterday. All day affair, but there was some valuable learning and the kids helped out quite a bit. Huge fan of the MotionPro BeadPro tire irons now--they made that job much easier. Also, I've finally got my Harbor Freight lift put together in the garage now. My back and knees are MUCH happier (that's what she said!). Now to find a little wheeled stool with the little tool tray down underneath.

Havcov1, we missed you last week. It was a wonderful night in the beer garden/Harmon garden. Sorry for the schedule but your welcome to show up anytime. Myself, Mrktm118 & RacerRon belong to a off road motorcycle club that has meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. I know how you like the dark beers though and they have a 2012 Stryker Stout that was aged in Dry Fly Wheat Whiskey Barrels on now if your interested

The Harmon also just won the Iron Brewers Championship for the second year in a row on Sunday!

Got my leave! I'm in for Hood River. Sending registration tomorrow. You guys still going? Anyone got a spare roll chart? I've honestly never used one.

Who's going to Touratech? Signing up tomorrow as well.

Any WABDR takers for the week of 16-23JUN?

I initially had 12-24JUN off, but stupidity at work crunching down the days and the resulting ridiculous expense of getting to Alaska and back in a short window has changed my plans there. (Seriously over $800 to get the bike and me up there by boat and plane, then riding-around money for a week, then the trip home with added ferry cash for the inside passage. I'll wait another year on that one.)

Yep, we are in for the Black Dog. I don't have a spare roll chart holder but Hinshaws in Auburn usually keeps them in stock.

I plan on going to the Touratech event too but haven't signed up yet.

I won't be available for the WABDR ride.

I'll see if I can't hit Hinshaw's this weekend. Any suggestions on what to look for or what the best features are? What makes one better than another? In a few seconds on the googlator, I see side-load and top-load; how big/easy are the knobs; how waterproof is it; how big a roll will it accept. Anything else in particular?
