I say pizza! Though Royal Farm chicken is good... and they have seating at that Royal Farm.

Gas at that Royal Farm too, which makes the general area a good stop/break/refuel/lunch spot.

I like the pace, it's leisurely and fun. Frantic or exhausting rides aren't often repeated.

Either date works for me. Be aware you've chosen the weekend of Spring Carlisle. There's also a Harley swap meet that Sunday. There's always a conflict with any date.

Route looks fine and fun. Might even try it on my venerable Road King just to awe some.

for April 27, we have 3 confirmed so far: Me, Chisenhallw, and Foxtrapper.

That's enough for me to say the ride is a GO for the 27th. The more the merrier though.

If you want, I can send out GPX files of the route so we can take turns leading. Or, I can lead the whole time.

Not the easiest day for me to make work, but perhaps next months first Monday I could join up with this one.

Little confused by the groupiness of this. If it's to be leg up at 4:00pm in North Beach, I don't understand leaving Baltimore at 4:00pm.

Bumping this back to the top so our fearful leader who dreamed up this idea can post any clever and witty updates he's come up with to the route and such.

Btw, I'm perfectly happy letting you lead the route. No burning desire for a GPS file so I can spend time leading. This way when we get lost, we all can confidently blame you!

Here is the official and mostly final-ish version of the route (Ignore the Google maps warning about restricted roads. Two of them tend to flood, so they are sometimes closed. I have a detour planned in case of flooding in that area):

https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=U...,21,22,23&z=11

We're starting and ending at the parking lot just off of 83 on Mt Carmel Road. There is a gas station about 200 yards east on Mt Carmel road, so fuel up first. Lets meet here at 10:00 AM on Sunday April 27. "B" on the map is a Royal Farms and Conawingo Pizza, for our lunch and gas stop.

I can lead the whole ride, I'm pretty familiar with most of the roads we'll be on. Its big bike friendly (60% paved, 40% dirt), as long as you're OK with dirt, gravel, and a few shallow water crossings (with concrete bottoms - no hidden rocks). I'll be mostly* doing the speed limit, and taking it easy. This is just to meet local people and explore the back roads, ne need for speed racing.

I'm looking forward to this...
