Well Matt for that statement you have been fined a nice donation to the ride

Let get some facts straight about the mighty XR460/4

Year 1 Wanaaring - engine locked up a few days before departure due to a missing dowel in the alternator cover

Year 2 Cameron Corner - Split plastic fuel tank

Year 3 Kosciuszko - Made it all the 600k's there, surprising quite a few - Eh TB

Year 4 Back 'O' Bourke - Made it the 1000 odd ks there no problem at all. Actually it probably leaked 30% of it fuel but it is still running strong.

Its a suprisingly good and stable bike to ride on the rough terrain. Its now on display in the Inverell Motor Museum and a well deserved rest.

As OldDog posted above I really wanted a practical 2 stroke for this years Scrapheap, and its well under way. I will be getting the swingarm back this week hopefully.

'Nother question for you Pezz: While you've nominated Nymboida as the destination, is there a specific start point?

Hi Perry,
I will try and make it this year, I have the $400 TT250 I got from Nev a couple of years ago and I use it as a Vinduro mount; that would be perfect for the ride.
The weekend you have proposed is after the Vinduro I run at Murphy's Creek and I have nothing in the Diary.
Where did you plan to hold it? At the Coaching Station?

Be great to have you along Mick

The Pub was expensive and didnt allow for camping riders. Some of us Scrapper's ride cheap you know

We have booked the Nymboida Canoe Centre which has about 50 acres of camping and cabins we will be getting a temporary licence and catering too.

That's the spot mate, we use it when in the area. Nice area for sure. Close to some great adventure riding roads.

Hmmm thinking of organising a ride out of the Mudgee area if anyones interested. Either down to the Sydney group and then North, or straight over to the valley and hook up with you guys at Glouster.....if I make it :)

Gordo yeah I'm thinking that'd be the go too! Mrs OD and I "traditionally" have everyone meet at my place first thing in the morning, have a big breakfast, then hit the road. I think we should do that again. Also I have some spare beds and plenty of room for swags and tents, a fridge full of beer and a BBQ.....so the "hitting the road" bit can be a bit careful the next morning

Hi Phil,
Good to hear! As i said above I'm developing a bit of theme for my trusty mount this year......think "great outdoors" & all things boating camping & fishing........ I'm interested in copying your parking brake arrangements.
& old dog.....that is a great looking beemer you've got there. Please tell me you're not going to do any cosmetic remediation?
