Stand up jet skis, on the other hand, take too much skill for most people. Which is why they ended making sit downs in the first place.
[Hopefully it's not too much of a threadjack to discuss PWCs a bit further.]

I owned both stand-ups and sit-downs, and I liked both. It's just picking the horse for the course, really. Stand-ups are a lot more fun to goof around on in a cove somewhere, but when the rest of the family is headed 20 or 30 miles across open water, it's going to be a bad day. Probably my favorite ride was my WB2...

Keep the GS

Bought my GS 4 years ago and my jetski has only seen the water twice since. My wife never wanted to ride my Honda Aero but the GS was a different story. Bought nice Shoei helmets Sena headsets for talking and listening to music. We don't do Freeways. All 2 lane roads and enjoy life. If I need an adrenaline rush I will get on my dirtbike and go a little crazy. There are logging roads all around that I like to ride but never 2 up on the GS. That is what the quad is for. Gotta have the right toy for the right adventure. I slow down with Mrs Beermoney on the back but it is a small price to pay for her to enjoy my passion as much as I do. It is a formula that has worked for us going on 39 years so I think I will stick with it.
