April 23rd 6:00 at Beemers and More Fort Collins

For those of you interested I will be at Beemer's and More in Fort Collins on April 23rd to talk about Rawhyde's Arizona Rally/Overland Expo and Rawhyde Colorado!

I will be taking sign ups for the Intro to Adventure Class and the Standard Rally Pack for the Overland Expo...click here for more details:
http://www.rawhyde-offroad.com/azadv.html

Also, Steve and I are going to ride out to Arizona with loose plans of leaving either Tuesday the 13th or Wednesday the 14th with our arrival day being Thursday the 15th. We have a few already interested in tagging along for those dates so if you have the time we would love for you to join us. At the moment, we do not have a specific route and that will depend a lot on weather at the time. We will talk about this in more detail at the event!

Hope to see you there

I can't recommend these guys enough. I rode out to their Cali location from Houston in fall of '09 and did their school. I'd bought a 09 GSA in the spring of 09 and knew I needed some skill updates as I was riding a 2007 HD Ultra CVO at the time.

I had a helluva time transitioning from the techniques you need riding the big girl to a GSA. I clearly remember the instructors screaming at me "you can use your front brakes on dirt" and "your not on that fat hog now - turn your front wheel in the dirt" as I navigated their training course.

I totally feel comfortable going from pavement to single track (including bowling ball boulders, sand, water, down hill dirt, whoops, etc) after attending their school.

Nixobilly

PS. Im sixty but I don't look as old as Jim Hyde. LOL If he gets out of this business he would be successful in anything that demands great customer service and satisfaction.

No - thank you and Jim Hyde.

I doubt Jim was creative enough to come up with a shower facility that tops Cali. Great view (open air) and right next to the bar!

Thank you instructors for making me a better and more competent offroad and onroad rider.

leaving here tomorrow dusty. I fly into denver on thursday AM, and then my plan is meander my way down to hartsel and arrive mid day friday. can't wait to ride with you and the boys again. we should have plenty of time to catch up on the BDR.

any thing I should make a point of taking in during my 24 hours of freedom??

I'm hoping to stop in and see Ron Grace on the way briefly. maybe Mt evans if the rd is re-opened.

got to admit I'm a bit nervous about the next step class, as my time to ride has been largely limited to 2 up pavement. I needed the points with Mama to get my permission slip. either way I packed my positive and can do attitude, the rest is just doing.

c u soon my friend...

I think I'm gonna start a whole ride report on the BDR tonight.
