FD outer seal

How many miles on your bike when the FD outer seal (right side) needed replacing? 22,000 on my '09 GS.

I never had to change one on my R1200 bikes, though I have changed several on other people's bikes. The most miles on any R1200 I had is 127K miles, two others well past 50K miles.

I've seen and personally had enough trouble with that seal that I carry one on long trips to use or share. Any Honda shop can change it on the road. (I dont want to pack a drill)

seal ?

98,000 miles and still on the one that came on the bike when new
Keep the pressure washer away from it
And the whole bike (not good for seals)

I'm on my 5th or 6th (I think 5th) in 88,000km. 2010 GS Adventure

Shortest was 25km (went across town, blow me down the damn thing is leaking again) and highest was around 20,000km I think.
