Yeah right.
Indianapolis has no corners, both road course and oval?
Barber has no corners?
Road America has no corners?

Long Beach is a tradition, but in general street courses are mickey Mouse contrivances. Nobody will miss that horrible course at Cleveland's airport.

I have 2 opinions:
More than half the IndyCar races should be on ovals, Loudon at 1.062 miles is an event I miss a lot.
You're a trolling nitwit.

I actually miss the Cleveland airport course. Yeah, it was completely flat, but Cart had some amazing races going 5 wide into turn one.

Woot! Helluva race!

That was great. Packed stands. Close racing. Lead changes. Thrilling last lap action. This race had everything.

Outstanding.

Tell you what, pal.

You go to Indy, you look down the front straight, you watch those cars scream into Turn One at 220 miles per hour without lifting, and you come back and tell me that Indy has no corners.

It takes balls of steel to do what those guys do. Turn One is like a wall staring you in the face as you head into it, going as fast as open wheel race cars can go. It's fucking terrifying.

Somebody with a ZX14 calls me a drag star!

Knowing the difference between corners and intersections, I'll always have a low opinion of street courses.

Back when Cam Steele recruited his Baja pit crews from advrider, I had a good time traveling from Connecticut to do what Trey told me to do, freezing at El Coyote at 3 in the morning to support the sport. Riding a few thousand miles of Baja dirt was just a bonus. Does financial support count? 2 tickets (me and GF) to COTA MotoGP, rode to the race, 2 to Indy MotoGP, ride there too, and 2 for MetLife stadium Supercross.

Being 61 I don't race any more. Maybe I'll catch you June 13 at Thompson when we break in the resurrected road course there during a track day.

Which woman in the pic is you?
Have a nice day.

What's in the stable now?

I bought the Concours for the girlfriend, she likes it back there during 600+ mile days.

The DR in Baja, still have it, still ride it.

The everyday commuter bike

The carbon Busa, with a few more lightening tricks under the skin, all street legal

The fun on the track SV650

And the '99 copper Busa

It is a Motorcycle related Website, so IMO any time they are injected it is appropriate!
I'm the big gal in back!
I didn't see a pic of you and I didn't see a Connie from CT, at COTA last month!
I rode the ZX14 to Indy and this to COTA for Moto GP

Seeing you were flagging (about the most thankless job at any track), you probably didn't cruise the parking lots much. Mine was the Connie with the new Conti Road Attack 2 on the rear, bought from Marble Falls Kawasaki, whose owners should love me long time now. The GF flew in, I picked her up at the airport Wednesday, and was damn happy another person in our group dropped her off there Monday. I missed the hailstorms heading northeast out of Kingsland, where we stayed, only got rained on.

You like group action, here's my pic-

[QUOTE=tinhead;24248006]. I missed the hailstorms heading northeast out of Kingsland, where we stayed, only got rained on.

I hit the hail leaving Mt Vernon, TX the next day. Decided to head a little East then North through the hills in OK and AR. Big mistake. Below freezing Rain and the worst hail storm I ever rode through!

Christ, you're think skinned.

Thanks for hijacking this thread so you could show off how ruff and tuff you are. When I wrote about Indy, it was from personal experience.

You must be drunk all the time! or you post so much you do not actually read the crap you write.

Someone said they wanted to get rid of road course's,

I made a sarcastic post about no corners being better!

You can't read and thought I said there are no corners at Indy!

I posted again saying I was being Sarcastic in response to previous post's. And posted pics to show that I was 1. being sarcastic. and 2, showing that I like corners and that I had been to Indy to work the races.

You again did not read and said some stupid crap about threadjacking and being tough! uh

Now post some thing else that makes no sense, or is irrelevant!

I can't wait!
Or you can read the post and go back to talking about IRL and forget the whole misunderstanding on your part.

Twas a great race with a great finish. I will commend Hunter-Reay on his absolute refusal to lose but I have to in the same breath condemn him for the daredevil slide job on Castro-Neves in turn 3. He pulled it off so he's a hero but pure luck was on his side, he could have easly taken both of them out. I think he probably would still have won without that move.

Oh yeah, I don't like street courses either.
