I've no idea what that means. Do you always grade people on why they enjoy things?

This weekend is Detroit and the second year of that funky, two day format. Still not sure how I feel about that.

That makes no sense, Mears was the greatest oval racer ever!?

Two pretty good street races. I guess good for Penske that he won both his own races, although the way Will Power wrecked a lot of people's races on Sunday pissed me off.

Josef Newgarden can't buy a break. I hope his luck changes soon. I want Sarah Fisher to do well.

I'm beginning to not like Power. He whines a lot, and his aggressive driving should get him more than a drive-through penalty.

Does he remind you of a certain Canadian who no longer races in the series?

Will Power is a dumbass, I'm delighted to report. Led almost the entire race, falls back into a very close second... then gets busted for speeding in pit lane on the last pit stop. Goes a lap down.

Yeah I was not sad to see him come in for his penalty. He was the fastest car on the track. Didn't liked him getting by Montoya at the line either. Just got home, glad I went down, it was a good race.

In the past few weeks I've picked up my Indy Car watching. I had given up on the series, after being a mild fan at best-- The Split, then some lameness, plus just having a limit on how much racing I can watch I chose F1 and MotoGP over it...

I'm liking where the series is. Are they the best drivers? No, but they are quality. Enough names I recognize to be fun. And judging by pre-race interviews they understand that they have to try a bit harder for popularity, they actually participate in the interview not just gruff words. Plus a truly international line up.

I'm watching Race 1 from Houston on my DVR now. I like that Indy has gone to 1/3 oval/speedway that is right to me. But can't say I'm a fan of parking lot races. Though this race has been good. I was really cheering for Sato.

And then there is AJ Foyt, "Bunch of God Damn idiots..."

Yeah, I can keep watching this series.

Going to try the Verizon App with this afternoon's race. That could be an interesting gimmick.

edit: Didn't even see Green Hell's post

AJ doesn't show any of the competitiveness that made him a great driver.

Was watching the yellow flag laps near the end and thinking, "Man, Rahal you're being a bit aggressive with your surges..." then BAM!

Kanaan's interview was pretty classy all things considered.

Andretti's blue flag punishment was weak, blocking for your team should be dealt with a bit harsher.

Missed yesterday's race, just forgot all about it. There's a yellow flag now in today's race, with about 15 laps to go. It's been very interesting and exciting. The race to the checkered flag should be good!

It really was a great race, with lots of action. Even the commentators got excited with all the passing going on. I like having PT in the booth.

I'm especially delighted by the fact that the big teams are not dominating the podium. New names and faces are good for the sport, and it's also good to have JPM back in the fold.

The accident that too out HCN was just one of those things that happen in racing. I don't think that he or Bourdais was "at fault". Bourdais understands it, Helio doesn't see it that way.
