The dimmer and the relay fit perfect behind the headlight.
I used the 1 amp switched power and the 10 amp constant power behind the headlight. The 1 amp to turn on a relay and the 10 amp to power it. Also tapped into the high beam wire to turn the LED's up to 100% when I turn on the high beam. I normally keep them around 50%.
So I have no external switches, just a remote I keep in the dash cubby hole. The lights are on when the bike is on.

The Wings seat coolers are great, the heat on my inside leg is reduced to almost nothing.
Thanks

Seat Cooler Pictures

Any chance of some more piccys of gloss and matt seat coolers, in particular on orange bike?

Trying to make up my mind which ones to get!

Already have the wings pipe with the carbon fibre heat shield and heel plate so leaning that way however the matt looks alright too.

Thanks

I/m looking at the WINGS cooler panels as their pipe is brilliant...let us know how the panels perform over time.....
Here's what I did.

Sorry mate, mine is an 'R, with gloss finish wings coolers. There's some pics from others with an 'R and gloss coolers so I didn't overload the thread with more of the same 'pics. IMO the gloss finish carbon suits the 'bike very well and is easy to clean and polish using 2-pack polymer (Autoglym) with the rest of the paintwork. I don't know what product you'd use to protect a matt finish carbon part, don't think high gloss Autoglym would work.

Don't have an R but took some pics of my standard. I'm not 100% happy with the gloss carbon look. Believe it or not but I think it's to pretty. I like my bike to look clean and sharp but with some grit. Also I really like the naked open look of the bike without the shields. However they do work at keeping the heat from rising up to my thighs and the seat. So they will stay on the bike. I may take them off in the fall and paint them solid black and put them back on next spring/summer. I'm happy with my purchase of the pipe as well. I't sounds really nice.. specially when your on country roads and there is less noise form other cars and trucks... very sweet. OOPS seems I can only upload one pic

Hi Folks

I fitted the Wings "Testicools" kit today after reading positive reviews from this thread - thanks Guys.

I thought folks may be interested in the solution I came up with earlier for the hot seat.

This will also stop hot air coming up the gap to the pillion seat which some still complain of with wings solution.

Made it from a car windscreen heat shield. Didn't stop heat on inner thighs but it is very effective in stopping the seat getting hot - which also made it more comfy. I think the heat causes the seat foam to compress too much putting your arse on the hard plastic base.

Cheers

Andrew

Yes. In Mexico even the '13 demo is fitted with that type of material under the seat, and all the '14 models have that insulation as a standard.
Don't know if that is a original part or the dealer is fitting them as a solution for the heating issue.

Yep I was given one of those by the dealer also to retrofit on my '13 - but the one I made has much better coverage so I didn't bother fitting the KTM version.
