That sounds awesome. The girl might enjoy that as well. I will be sure to let you all know once the bike gets through customs and is all legalized.

Is that really a requirement to move the kick stand to the other side? Headlight I think I determined should be okay.... but we will see what the inspector says.

You'll need tyres with biased for left side riding, because of the massive camber on our roads.

You'll need to get a new helmet though, because if you have a left hand drive visor the inspectors will see right through it.

Haha... everyone is just hilarious picking on the gullible foreigner. Good news is all my mirrors and levers are swapped out so no way the inspector will get me now!

Slightly off topic, but anyone got any suggestions for a good mechanic shop in Auckland? Need to swap the cam belt on an Imprezza, and have no clue where is reputable or not.

Cheers mates

We had a Legacy for a few years, my Wife used to take to:
http://www.subtech.co.nz/contact.html
Never been there myself but I saw the invoices.
Bit out of your way but train is 5 mins away.
I'm guessing they have two belts?
If they are like other cars its often a good time to swap out the water pump too.

Single belt, small engine in her (despite opinions here). Price was right, well I guess we will see how the car holds up, so it was hard to say no. I am hoping $750ish should cover the belt, pump, and labor.

Hey Shocker...keep me posted on how you got your bike into NZ....the wife and I are in the process of immigrating and would love to bring my bikes with me if I could. As nice as summer is here....its been an absolute shit of a winter and I loath the idea of going through that again anytime soon......
