You will like the Snoozebox. MrsYo and I used it for our stay in '12; it was right close to the paddock so in the middle of the action. Just don't try to cram 3 blokes into one unit. It's cozy for 2 people who REALLY like each other.

This video is taken between 11 and 12 on the map above, it is good because you can get in and out from the coast road when the circuit is closed. You can pay a couple of pounds to park in a farm yard, and use his fields which are on the circuit.

This is taken in Kirk Michael (13), but you will be stuck there until the roads open, which can be all day! You pay a couple of pounds to park and rent a chair, with the funds going to charity. They have a tent selling tea, coffee + food.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZmREsGi5o4
Ballaugh Bridge (15) is also a favourite of mine. Access from inside the circuit, when the roads are closed, (very scenic!)and a pub for food, drink and loos. You can watch from before and after the bridge if you don't mind hopping the stream. Wideload marshalls this part, so he'll have more info. I have never done it, but I think you can go under the road using the river, but you'll get wet.

You can get to Hailwood Rise (29) from Ballaugh Bridge using the roads in the centre of the Island. I often do this if there are two races on the same day, watching one from each spot. On a nice day, in my opinion this spot is the TT.

Gooseneck (22) I haven't been here for a couple of years, but is good because you can get in from the outside of the circuit when the roads are closed. It will be busy, but you can wander up the circuit until you are on your own if you wish to do so.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gn5YFql5yi4
Creg ny baa (35) is also good for the pub/food/parking, but will be busy, you just walk up or down the circuit until the crowds stop. Again you can get access from outside the circuit after the roads close.

I can go on if you wish

Hillberry is a great place to watch; it's not too far from Douglas/Onchan so is relatively easy to access, plus you can get to the north side of the road even when the course is live.

The bikes hit their fastest speeds in this section, and it's quite surreal to stand next to the course as they go flying by.

Appears there was a bit of an incident today, but the rider should be ok....

Updated statement from the Vauxhall International 2014 North West 200 13/05/2014 The final practice session of the 2014 Vauxhall International North West 200, the Superstock session, was red flagged four minutes early following a crash at Primrose corner. French rider Franck Petricola, 31, a newcomer riding for the Ice Valley team was the only rider involved in the incident. After being treated at the scene by the race doctors he was transferred by helicopter to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. The doctors have confirmed that Franck is currently in a serious but stable condition in the hospital’s intensive care unit. They have said that his injuries are non-life threatening.

Hutchy flicked himself off in supersport practice and tore up his fingers. Warning! Graphic picture of damaged finger.

He was back to do some laps on the superbike later in the day.

I was going to say that Hutchy just has no luck. But I suppose falling off at a road race and only getting a bust finger could be considered very lucky!

This may be worth watching. The original Road Racers movie was a classic.
