Is the NW200 a prologue for the TT? or just because they're so close to each other, it's in the same thread?

They are unrelated, but the NW200 is a great chance to test set up for the TT, and there is only a week between the two events. There aren't too many other places where you can hold a 200 mph bike flat out on public roads.

If you have the funds it is possible to air freight the bike. We don't so it went via a container ship. Even then it runs about $6K US round trip. I wonder if they'll have the same eejit on the mike during the stunt shows as last year. My kids still laugh about him describing something as "awesome to the power of rad". I'll have to do a search to see who he was.
