During the process of wiring up some ADVmonster model 30's, over the weekend, I noticed that the low beam on my fiancee's '09 G650GS is burned out. Just ordered an H4 for her. I'll report back on fitment after it's received.

I've put one in a Dakar, tight fit, worked wonderfully without the shield.

Thanks for the heads-up. Any dis-assembly required, or were you able to squeeze it in by reaching down between the bars and the fairing?

If I can't get it to fit on her bike, I'll order a second one and put 'em both on my Vstrom

No disassembly required. If you have large hands, you might want to recruit a helper.

progress on my Uly with H7's is slow, but happening. I'm making a new sub-harness. I have the connector and pins, just need to triple-splice the grounds together; the sub harness has 4 pins, 3 for power and one for ground.

I used some EPDM/neoprene pipe insulation trimmed up to fit the gap left by not being able to use the boots.

Well I ran into a snag.

I have everything wired up, and was doing a test fit, making sure the lights worked. The high beam didn't turn on.

I checked that voltage was present, and that was good, so I disconnected the connector on the light and found this:

That pin is definitely broken off. Not sure why I didn't notice that when I plugged it in.

Install went fine on the '09 G650GS. I was able to install without disassembling any of the fairing using my giant hands.

Her old headlight was burnt out, so no before/after pictures. Next time her bike is out at night I'll try and get an after picture, just for kicks.

A much whiter, more visible light. I like that the white light of the headlight LED matches the white of her Model 30's ADVmonster aux lighting.

Thanks for the update. No more yellow halogen

Here's a Wr250R with Model 60s and our H4 LED Headlight. Looks like a match
