Yes, the Gen 1 uses an H4. And it looks like there is plenty of space behind the headlight.

Just ordered a H4 for the Dr650. I like the idea of a heat sink vs moving parts.

Had some questions regarding the length of the protrusion/heat sink.

From the back of the H4 mounting tabs to the back of the black housing is 49mm.

Hey ....

Your Spec. below states:

20 watts / 1.5 amps

is that low beam ?? high beam ??

Can you give both for Low and High Beam ??

You get full power on low beam with a sharp cutoff. The light output changes position to create the high beam.

So in addition to my H4 main bulb in my XChallenge - I have a small 5W bulb that I'm assuming is high beam. Does your LED H4 replace both and act as high/low beam? Excuse the newb question...I'm a dolt when it comes to electrical/lighting..

The small bulb is a "parking lamp" . It is not used while underway.

The H4 led headlight has a high and low beam.
