BMWRA at Barber Motor Sports Park

http://bmwra.org/news/national-rally

May 29 - June 1

Four days with full access to the park and the museum.

Be sure to bring a big memory card and a fully charged battery.

This place is incredible.

Any other inmates going?

You will need a huge memory stick for your camera and an extra battery for the museum. I have not seen the collection in several years and look forward to seeing all the new toys.

We are also stopping in at Blue Moon Cycle in Norcross, GA to view John's art deco collection of bikes.

I don't see any mention of the BMW RA ralley listed anywhere on the Barber Motorsports Park website so it must not exist...

You are you going to believe? A website? Or an inmate who is running registration on Thursday?

BigDoc,
I was thinking of riding over to the RA rally while visiting some family in ATL to see the Barber museum for the first time. Will the musuem be open for solo, walk-in tours or do I need to register for a time slot in a group tour? Will I be required to pay the full $75 fee to see the museum and vendor display for a few hours or is there a daily rate?
Thanks,
Eddy

I can't imagine closing the museum for the rally members only. I'm sure you can visit the museum without registering for the rally...

We have leased the entire facility. You will have to pay the rally fee. There is no discount at this point. No individual passes to the Museum.

I'll be riding in two up from Columbia SC by way of I20 through ATL starting Thursday evening at 6pm. More than likely will stay with friends on Thursday night in ATL and then get into Barber Fri morning. But who knows, might push on through and get there Thurs late. Can't wait!

We're leaving from the Toronto, Ontario area tomorrow morning. Meeting up with some friends in Nashville for a couple of nights, then on to the Rally Thursday morning. We should be there early afternoon - really looking forward to it!
