SF dealer recommendations?

A friend is looking for a place to get a couple of tires put on his 1200RT in the middle of a trip. He will need them in the San Fran area. Anyone have a recommendation as to who/where?
Thanks
Rod

I was staying in a hotel a few blocks from SF Moto that has a few good reviews in this forum. It appears to be an independent dealer in the area. After it opened and moved the bikes stored from its service bay onto the street, it appears that same-day service is unlikely unless they queue jump tire changes.

If your buddy is capable of doing his own work, he might want to look into Moto Shop. They are a do-it-yourself garage (although the owners/staff apparently have sufficient skill to guid you if necessary) that have a No-Mar tire changer that would allow him to have his tires shipped there so he can change them himself on his schedule.

You'd almost think I lived there...

Eek

This guy has good references and I've talked to him, but not used him (wrong side of the bridge for me). I believe you can order tires and have them shipped to him and be waiting for your arrival.

On the other side of the bridge, I have used these folks in Berkeley:

They have been quick, reasonable and done good work for me.

I have used Robbie / Mototireguy a couple times. A Jake Wilson preferred installer.

SF BMW has high marks. A friend won't go anywhere else. Robbie will be less expensive (I think he moved shop), BMW will be more, well BMW.

In Central California, Cycle Specialties could handle it. (Modesto)
