He tells me the other day. You know what dad, I think you need to have different motorcycles for doing different things on them..... That is the short version anyway. I think he might be a lost already. I keep hearing XR200. Hasn't even ridden the 75 yet!

Woohoo!

He's gonna have a ball!
That's what my Grandfather did, help me fix it the 1st time, after that it was on me, you learn how to do it if you want to ride.
Best bike he could start on, beat it like a rented mule and it'll keep on going.

Hopefully first ride tomorrow! Had to fab up a chain slider and guide thingy for the swingarm. Using the term "fab up" rather loosely. Old slider off of XR600 cut and zipped on arm. Little bracket in frt of rear sprocket with another piece on it.

Got the points cleaned up and set. She fired right up. The boy is to nervous/excited to ride it. I sure had a hoot on it though. Well give it a go in the morning.

I got some good riding in this weekend, but one of the highlights was still watching the kids from the neighboring camp go back and forth for hours, one on a Honda 70 and the other on a PW50. Pure fun.

She sits in front, runs the throttle whille her feet are on top of mine. I hold the left bar end and help steer. She don't know it, but she was pretty much doing it by herself last time. Maybe a pw50 for her. She is only 4 ya know.

Great Job Guys! Glad to see it back up and running. Just finished the last of the beers tonight, so it was a good trade all around. I still have that sprocket, will try to get it out to you next time I get home.

Great stuff Chris, passing it on to the next generation.
Makes our rides & campouts seem so much more important, as they will be talked about by the generations!
