Dakar have an extra ply, so stiffer sidewall and better puncture resistance.

Dakar has extra Ply of belting and thicker beads than the DS and is marked with yellow stripe.

Mitas Tires in stock and shipping

Just got back from the Dempster with my rear E07 and front MC60. I have 7,194mi on both tires. I'll be lucky if I can get another 1,000 from the rear. Front maybe a couple more, but it's cupping real bad. I thought the Sava didn't cup like the TKC? Maybe it was Jim Hyde that mentioned it or someone on the forum here. Also Jim Hyde's video review states the Sava MC60 is multi directional and mine is not. There is only one directional arrow and my mechanic would not mount it the wrong way. Not sure why he's advertising them as such. I got 21,000mi out of my last TKC front and I know this one won't see half that. We hauled ass (500mi minimum each day, many 600-700 days) all pavement with exception of 274mi of Dempster. They worked great doing 70+ mph on the Dempster and when we hit a 20mi section of baby shit mud, I had decent traction. Unfortunately not well enough to make the 14mi further trek to the Arctic Circle. We stayed overnight at Eagle Pain (punt intended---crooks) and hauled ass back down the Alaska Highway. I blame most of the wear on the chipseal roads throughout most of the Yukon. I'm sure doing 80mph for 12-15 hours a day isn't good on any tire. The last 5 days rained constantly and we even had to ride through snow and sleet and the tires had great traction. I would definitely buy the E07 again, but not the MC60. You can't beat Motorace's prices or customer service.

On our way back through Montana and Idaho

Yep. Front only and I swapped out because they were cupping bad but still had plenty tread left.

Did you see the "item not available" on my ebay "add to cart" page?

Another vendor on ADV has a wait list. My trip ends in Canada so I thought I might try to get them from MX1 Canada but they won't have any until the end of July.

They are scarce, is what I'm saying, and I can't find a set that fits my Tiger.

*EDIT* Now I refresh the page and they're in stock. Weird. But ordered. I'm happy. If they ship...

Do you carry the 120/80-18 TT E-07 rear tire? I finally cancelled an order from Canada, decided one year on backorder was enough.
Thanks!
Jeff

As I have said before, we have to see what they have, balancing their production schedule / existing stock and our time frame.

We are shipping about 15-20 tires a day. Thx for all the orders!

Not sure if Motorace is still monitoring this thread or not, but wondering when the 150/70/17 will be back in stock as well.

UPDATE - Our container is packed. We are paying for it today. We hope to have it on the ship by Monday.

We are looking at August 1st to be in Massachusetts on our dock.

The ship is the easy part, Customs took the most time in NJ for our last box.

The bulk is E-07's since that is where the interest is. We didn't get everything in quantity, but we did get a bit of everything we wanted. Plus, 700 tires fills fast.

KTM, BMW and KLR sizes. 140-18, 150-18, 130-17, 150-17. With corresponding fronts. Also, 120/80-18 and 120/90-17 (XR and DR).

I hope this answers your questions. They will be up on ebay the day they come in. We try to ship same day with all orders, though UPS does come at 4:00PM here.

thanks for all your support!
