How does it complicate things? You can prepare for shipping ahead of time and deal with the rush a bit more effectively. Those of us willing to pay ahead of time guarantee ourselves a set of tires in sizes that may potentially sell out quickly. Seems like a win win?

Thanks for all your questions and continued support. The emails I get tell the tale of people planning trips around this container, and we will do our best to get them out same day.

thx dave

If anyone is interested, you can track the cargo ship here - http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/...date:lastknown

(If the link doesn't work, just search for "Mearsk Virginia" in the upper right).

The shipper did us no favors by booking on that ship.

It looks like mid-August.

E09 Dakar on 09 R1200 GSA

This will be my 3rd rear tire - they're great! I'm averaging 6500 miles. I have put 1 TKC80 on the front for the last 12k and it's feathered pretty bad now even though there's plenty of tread.
For our big bikes - the Dakar is the way to go. You guys seem to like the 7's better, so I may try that the next time.

When I last looked it was in Sri Lanka. Now it's doubled back and in the Red Sea. It's a LONG LONG way from the USA.

Are you guys still going to stock the Sava MC60's? I got a rear tire from you a couple months ago, and so far I love it. Seems to work about the same as TKC80's on and off road, and as long as it lasts at least a little bit longer I'm in for another one when the time comes! I've put about 600 miles of mostly street on it so far and it's showing no wear that I can tell.

I did 7300 miles on my Alaska trip and still have about 1500 left on my 07 dakar rear. Love the tires and will be getting more.
