White River Cabin,Arkansas Ozarks For Rent

Cabin on the White River near Calico Rock, Arkansas for rent.

Cabin located at an excellent fishing site and just across the river from the Ozark National Forest. The White River is a premier trout stream with trophy Rainbows and Browns. Great on and off road riding abounds in this area. The road into the cabin is an adventure in itself! Great mountain biking nearby at the Syllamore Mountain Bike Trails which have several loops totalling about 60 miles. Cabin has a deck on the river and a rough boat launch available (gravel).
Two bedrooms with twin beds in one room and a full in the other. Sleeper sofa in living room. Completley furnished, modern kitchen, comfortable and a wonderful view. Secluded, quiet but not isolated.
Fellow Adventure Rider rate is $110.00 per night, Two Night Minimum Please (I have to pay a two night minimum to have the place cleaned). Regular rate is $129 and up.
PM me for further details and availability. If I'm unavailable...(on the river fishing) go to
www.mountoliveoutdoors.com You can book with Katie or Randy but I would prefer you PM me first so I can coordinate the discount. If for some reason I can't be reached just ask Katie or Randy for the Adventure Rider Discount.

Link to "EXPLORING IZARD COUNTY" website...these guys regularly explore historic and natural sites of interest nearby. Many are very close to the cabin.

For the fishermen...link to Blue Ribbon Fly Shop in Mountain Home. Great fly shop with lots of information on the White and Norfork Rivers online.

Kick ass! Anything nearby to keep the missus occupied while the locals show us around? She's not much into dirty biking...

Looks like that's about 9 hours from me, perfect distance to feel like I'm on a "trip" without getting out too far.

Mountain View, the "Folk Music Capital of the World", is about 30 minutes or so south. The Ozark Folk-Heritage Center State Park and lots of requisite shopping also in Mountain View. Blanchard Springs Caverns are about 30mins away also. Plenty of things to see and do....and spend money on!

That ain't no shit...we pulled into Mountain View last May on a trip. There were bikes all over and the town square was filled full of people and there were a bunch singing. We went into a diner and I asked the waitress what the party was for. She said "This ain't no party, we do this every Saturday Night." I'm thinking and then . What a cool town. Like "The Truman Show" only there are a lot of twisty roads around there. I'm keeping this cabin in mind.

Thanks

Very cool area. I'll try to talk the Mrs. into taking a ride down there and staying at your cabin.

Bump....
The cabin survived the White River flood intact but it was a bit dicey for a few hours. The fishing is great March and April!

I know this may be a wimpy question, but does it have air condition for the summer?

If not, when does the weather start cooling down in the fall so it's comfy?

Looks like a beautiful place.
