Good ride last sunday, thanks for the invite.
The reason I bailed early was that my fingers and toes had become as wrinkled as my tired old face because of all the WATER.

If anybodys interested:

I'd like to do a night ride, staying on known dry roads that are not too overgrown. Starting around sunset and riding into the cool, evening, bug filled air.
Full moon is 7-12, so nights are getting brighter.

Bill...

Yeah, we got into more water than I wanted.

I have a hard enough time staying upright in the daylight, I would probably kill myself in the dark.

Bill,
great to see you riding....I got a Cyclops lighting system we used at Perry Mtn 24 hr race...with the light I can run at almost full race pace in the dark. Use a Helmet to illuminate the handlebars & you still ride single track easily. A night ride would be fun....

Hey John, "long time no ride with" sounds like you are still havin fun ridin though.
Man thats a lotta light your talkin about. I'm thinkin maybe you could ride in the rear and provide light for everyone. Oops, that won't work because you have never been back there before.

I'm sure that running stock KTM lighting will be challenging to say the least.

Bill...

A Bic lighter puts out more light than the stock KTM headlight. I was totally amazed in the Cyclops LED lights. 35watts & it turns night into daylight.
I enjoy night riding, you so much more focused on what's in front of you, lets do it sometime soon!

Since the moon is full on the 12th, next fri. or sat. night would work for me.

I'm running a TrailTech X-2 Halogen headlight on my KTM ....its a little better than stock, something like.... 2 bic's and a zippo.

Can't play in the dirt today, gotta pull the grandkids around the lake.

A night ride next Saturday sounds good to me. I just mounted an LED hunting headlight on my helmet for a little more light.

Bill, Don, what's the plan for Saturday, meet at the tower say 8:00pm, ride some easy roads/trails for a couple hours or until we get scared of the boogie man....Rick.
