Gravel roads for beginners in Dolomites / Sudtirol?
I have found lots of gravel roads for beginners in Piemonte region (Fort Jafferau, Assieta, Sommet Bucher, etc), but I do not have enough time to go that far. As I've read here on Advrider.com "Off road is absolutely forbiden in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Italy, however, is a free for all."
Dolomites / Sudtirol is much closer to where I live, but it seems that most of the passes are covered with tarmac. Is that so?
Do you know any good gravel roads there you would recommend for beginners?
Thanks in advance for everything you could share.

This reply comes a bit late, but if you´re still looking for gravel roads i would suggest to have a look at the friaul region around Sauris and Paluzza. I´ve been there twice now and there are some nice and easy gravel roads in the mountains that are legal to ride. remember, even in italy there are many roads closed for motorbikes.
if you need some gps tracks feel free to contact me.
