TKC or Karoo3 FRONT?

Just about done with the Karoo 3s I spooned on the 1190R about a month and 3000 miles ago. I'm going back to Mitas E07 in back. The front K3 is wearing great, with not much cupping. I suppose it would go another 2-3000. It worked great in the dirt for my needs and never did anything scary.

I'm curious to try a TKC front though to go with the Mitas rear. Any opinions? Will it hold up pretty well too without major cupping? I hear they have soft sidewalls so thats a bit of a turn off.

Good choice on the Mitas tires, they're my favorite at the moment. I've run the E09 Dakar in the rear with both an E09 Front and the C17 Stone Eater front. The E09 was the first time I've worn through the front tire faster than the rear, lol, but still pretty good at 4,000 miles. Got 6,000 out of the rear.

I have a TKC80 on the front now because I too wanted to try it out. Not. A. Fan. It's super squishy, especially the sidewalls. Off the bike, you can collapse the dang thing my hand like a rubber band! Every time I hit a rock or root offroad kinda hard, I'm worried I bent the rim or got a pinch flat. So, I'll be tossing another Mitas on the front unless I find something else I like better.

Just edited my first post because I had initially said Anakee 3, I meant Karoo 3

I run the TKC's and like them a lot. One of the few tires that lives up to the hype. Although they do not claim to be long wearing tires I just pulled the rear and put the Conti back on for a long road trip starting on tomorrow.

I'm running Karoo 3 front and Mitas E07 rear at the moment. I have run TKC on my BMW with cupping pretty early, and same thing with my buddies with their 990's. That's why I went with the Karoo 3, didn't see cupping with that on My GSA. We'll see how it goes, almost 2K on these now, and they are wearing good.
