OK, so now I know that I want to add some luggage to the '92 TDM. In order to preserve the two-up ability, I'd like to have a real top rack, too.

I need a lesson on what is available in the US for side and top hard bags. I haven't found a supplier stateside who has anything for the TDM specifically, like Twisted Throttle or Givi USA.

Anyone?

Can any of you guys tell me if there is a dealer in the states that can get heidenau tires? I've looked around a bit and was unsucessful.

The journey...to Cameron Highlands,Malaysia.Total of 1200km to and fro.

The guys have arrived the evening before me.I and wifey left GP around 2.50am.Arrived at Tapah around 7am.The ride from GP to Tapah,abit scary.The fog,around 3.45am,and 6.30am,is nightmare....
The TDM did superbly great on speed with the alu cases this time.Last year i did Phuket,it was hell...i can't go above 150km/hr due to headshake wobbling front end.But after i did the fork oil change,forkseal,front wheel bearings,and added bar ends on the handlebar which i didnt do during the phuket ride,now the TDM able to ride to 185km/hr without much of a problem...
This time,the comfortable cruise speed is 140-160km/hr with speed at time slightly above 180km/hr.So,the wobbly is not to front DS tyre,or alu cases..

Here,at abot 7.30am at the foot of Tapah.

As i have studied the map earlier at home,i see that going through Tapah,and exited just few kilomtres to go by Tanah Rata then up to Brinchang is even shorter route.So with the aid of a friend's GPS...it helps..Very scenic ride up during the sunrise.but alot if twisty hillclimb.But,it was all worth it.

After meeting up with the guys for breakfast,me and wifey slept for only 2hrs before joining the guys for the tea plantation walk.Very cooling at temperature around 20deg.

Fresh tea...

Just before dinner,time to do some shopping for the missus.

Strawberries

The Cluny Lodge..very high up above the town of Brinchang.

Time to leave to another destination before we ride back home.

few more photos on the way back before it rain throughout the day with heavy thunderstorm at most areas...500plus kilometer ride in the rain...

During the twisty road down after Ringlet,we stopped for some hot deep fried bananas and waterfall.

We stopover at Melacca...380km from Cameron,and about 200km before Singapore.

Hi guys! My greetings! I first want to apologise for my English, but if you d hear me talking in my own language, you d say...you speak Greek to me. And you d be right because, i am Greek!
I own a yamaha tdm 900 07 and she s my black beauty! I am a member of the Greek tdm club, and I always want to sare bike expiriences especially about Tdm and thats even more interesting when it comes from bikers all over the world! I cant answer this question, but taking in account that for tdm 900 yamaha suggests semisynthetic oil i think you d better use this kind!
