Giant Loop D/S Sano exhaust spacer
Hey guys,
When installing the Giant Loop on most d/s, the plastic gets pushed down on the exhaust can. While the Giant loop guys send a heat shield, you still need a stand-off. The penny-ante approach is to install one or two hose clamps on the exhaust can with the screw part under the plastic to space the plastic away. This works and I what I'm currently doing to protect my plastic. For those of you who want a very clean and sano approach, here is an COOL item to install to keep the plastic off the can. Note: I have not used this product yet, but I will order one or two in the near future to test.I know a few s/m guys that use them in the intended way and the really protect the can from rash on pavement. I'll report back in a month or two . If any one has this installed, let us know how it works. https://ssl.perfora.net/www.advanced...dex.shopscript Click on product overview. click on supermoto exhaust slider. Hope this helps! Later, PIGPEN

I'd be interested in something like this that wasn't a permanent fixture to the exhaust. I think with this product you have to use a heat shield between the exhaust and hose that sticks to the exhaust. Maybe there is a way to apply it so it doesn't have to stay on the pipe for good.
