I can officially confirm now, but I will be staying in a local hotel. I will be arriving in the area on the 25th and will be free to ride on Saturday and Sunday. I personally like to sleep until 8 or 9 in the morning, but will gladly get up earlyer if necessary. What time will we be leaving camp for any rides?

Also, have any of you FFs ever been to Pie in the Sky? It is above Tom's Place across the street from Rock Creek Lake? She makes the best pie I have ever had. I am planning on riding up to get pie and breakfast Saturday morning with the wife. Would anyone else be Interested? If so we should be up there early as they sell out every day by 10 or 11am.

Looking forward to riding my favorite back yard.

for the ride up on Sunday, it is an intermediate/easy gravel road. i would say noob friendly, but i've seen some folks struggle on the first steep uphill. overall, it's pretty easy gravel rocky road.

here's a google map link.

i just googled "Bishop Silver Canyon Road"

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Si...cd2dd28622c9bd

it's roughly 45 minutes from camp to Bishop. then maybe 1 -2 hours up to the top.

from camp to Bishop, on the bike, take Diablo Road( you head east on Benton Crossing ). dirt super highway. cuts out all the highway riding.
if you are trucking to Bishop to ride up, park at the LAWS Railroad Museum. gear up. ride to the top. your truck will be fine.

there is a possibility that i will drive my bike to some of my riding spots over the weekend, so you might not see my WHITE FORD VAN until late. sometimes i return at sundown or later. i will be in CAMP SPOT #73 in the horseshoe loop we are all camping in.

It looks like I won't make it down until Saturday, but I'll be there for the ride to the station for sure. I'm riding down from Reno, so if anyone is headed that way, drop me a line.

See you Saturday.
