took it to the dealer $275. Wanted to take it to the dealer to ensure/confirm all bulletins and recalls based on my vin were already done or not required. Also wanted to document the air filter lid warped and dust in trumpets with photos. Steering bearing was loose and wanted that documented as well as some have come loose a second and third time. Dealer found spokes loose and tightened them and I've never been good at truing wheels anyway. Dealer also reset my speedo (which I cant do) to 1190R, vice 1290 which brought the speedo more in line. To me, was well worth the $275. I'll do the rest from here unless something is recalled or breaks.

check the below thread out. Speedo cluster is the same cluster used on the 1290SD, 1190S, and 1190R. It may or may not be set right from the factory. Mine was set on 1290, dealer set it to 1190r during first service. speedo more accurate, but still a little off…but I can live with it.

Tried this many, many times. Never worked, Had to go to the dealer & get them to use their magic computer. They reset it to warn at the next service interval.
