Is there gas at Pine Flat Or Ponderosa?

To me SNF means Santa Fe National forest. If that is what you are talking about here is some info.

There is gas about 6 miles from Ponderosa. You have to go out to SR 4 and turn north and go about a mile. It is at a place called Wallatowa.

I don't know where Pine Flat is.

But given that the post is in West, you probably mean something else. If so, never mind.

SNF is Sierra National Forest, Sequoia NF is actually SQF.

The Ponderosa usually has gas during the summer months, call to check. Pine Flat does not have gas but Camp Nelson does. I plan long loops in this area with these gas stops in mind, I sometimes carry extra fuel or cache some enroute.

Thanks Perry. Just want to have options covered.
Heading up there this Thursday for the weekend, plan to camp at Greenhorn County park.
Riding solo so if anyone wants to join come on up.

Just rode from Greenhorn summit to Camp Nelson for gas/lunch then past Ponderosa on way back and they had gas. I missed one single track if anyone wants to record tracks of it for me?
