Followed this from the beginning. I couldn't imagine riding something that small across a state, much less from coast to coast.

Big Congratulations!

Thanks for taking this ride and posting as you go.

I enjoyed your report AND your choice of equipment.

Thanks for posting and showing you don't need anything fancy to have an adventure. You guys took it to another level though. Congrats!

I have a 150cc Chinese scoot; & it averages 341 miles between malfunctions that take it off the road. So good that your scoot was reliable.

What was the GPS unit you used. Did it do the job you wanted it to do?

How did you choose the daily/entire route to ride? You mention bicycle routes. Were they all bicycle routes then?

I hope you shall take the time to return here & write a little more about the logistics of the journey.

Congratulations, once more!

Epic journey!

I've done this cross country craziness a few times myself, once on a Vespa 250 and another time on an antique Lambretta. I appreciate your tenacity to document and blog this adventure. It is exhausting, and exhilarating all at the same time.

Thanks for sharing your odyssey. Memories for a lifetime...
