In its previous incarnation, it had the small 8" wheels, but they wear out too fast. The 12" wheels are much much better, and easier on tires and bearings. Love that shitty trailer!

hey there, where the hell was that pic taken? Not like the Alberta I remember?

Not rare as in hard to buy, just rare seeing 3 of them at one place...

I've been busy the last couple days getting familiar with the GT. I've got a few hundred kms on it now, and while its super fun, I'm honestly not sure I'll ever be a true enthusiast. I'm planning a nice long weekend in the mountains in the fall, then I'll see how I really feel about it. The shift cables need some adjustment, as it likes to jump out of second now and again. I hope that's all it is, as one of the other solutions involves digging a little deeper into the case. I'd rather ride than wrench.

I did some riding with this ol' dog today. Turns out they would be very nicely matched on some twisty mountain highways, provided the speed limit doesn't get much over 80 km/h. Both are very capable of 100+, but they are really comfier in the 80's.

Very nice! I'm casually waiting for an R80 or 100 to pop up to do a scrambler build, my R65 LS likes it in the 80's too

Not likely. I've had it with boring beemers. My friend Chad M built this nice Tonti guzzi special, but sadly, sold it before I had a chance to call dibs. Tonti Guzzi are where it's at, haven't you heard? Ride a 70's goose and compare it to your Beemer. You'll see.

Nice find. What part of Canada are you from? Big Rucks are like hens teeth where I live (NL). I hope to snag one some day.
