I think you're supposed to run through this section if you are on foot, rather than walk.

Seriously?
Kids on the road, probably near a school.

One of my favorite things about touring by scooter in NOLA is that you can create some really convenient parking spaces.

Crawfish pie and garlic potatoes from "Eat" at the corner of Dumaine and Dauphine in the French Qtr.

BTW- they also have a very good bread pudding

Gday mate.
I got the 250ie second hand in excellent low km condition, I was lucky to find it.
The 400 version is about my favourite "riders bike", but both versions are surprisingly competent in most areas.
Even WA "ball-bearing" gravel!

I wanted and considered the X8 400 too when buying my Downtown.

I only had one ride on the X8 200 some 10 years ago when it first came out.
I remember 2 things - great comfort and absolutely no feedback from the
road/wheels.

I managed to lock up the rear slowing down from 50-55mph for the next
90 turn (was having a little drag race with my cousin) and not even know
that I was dragging a locked up wheel. Bad tires and pavement probably
contributed, but that thing was as detached as possible.

I like how they put the 14" rear wheel on the 400 instead of the 12".

That bike is like a mini Majesty/Burgman 400, nothing like what my DT300
was (a hell of a lot stiffer and sportier).

2005 Kymco People 50, a little 2 smoker with a salvage title I picked up cheap.

Today I did the shakedown run and rode to work. It'd been in my kitchen until 7am this morning, I rode the 9 miles to work, with full intentions of walking if needed.

But, actually it went great, running an easy 40mph and even up to 45mph when a little down hill. I replaced a few odds and ends this winter, and put the topbox on it for a place to throw lunch/gallon of milk/ helmet..

As luck would have it, I got to score a photo tag on the way to work, with a photo needed of your bike in front of an Irish Pub. I then rode the rest of the way to work.. Yeah, that's ice I'm parked between..

Fun little scooter, and the big wheels make for a pretty solid ride.. I already am wondering how far from home I'll be riding it??? With a Helix and a Majesty in the garage, there's no REASON to wander too far with a 50, but one never knows..
