Gulf States Craigslist Finds....

OK, so every region I've lived in has a CL thread, where we post steals, deals, and even the comical crap that hits the motorcycle section of our Craigslist regions. I find myself in OK at least once a year, and wherever I travel I'm always looking for deals and I'm sure some of you other motorcycle addicted folks are the same. Sadly, I haven't seen a CL thread for OK, or any of the Gulf States. So why not get a CL thread going?

So while I'm searching for a possible donor bike for a shortypants build, I came across this. Our first deal of this thread is a Moto Guzzi V7, practically band new, for $1500 under MSRP. This doesn't even count the nice luggage system.

Somebody go buy this thing before MrsDonkeys sees it. This thing is too pretty to end up a scrambler....

MUST SELL V7 STONE GUZZI - $7000 (Norman)

2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone, black, < 2000 miles.
Bought new in December 2013 in Tulsa.
First service done, all is well with the bike :)
I haven't even run all the nibs off the tires.

Clean clear Oklahoma green title, no liens.

Moto Guzzi Factory 2 year warranty (transferable)

Had a great day riding last weekend, went to the airshow!!

Added Hepco Becker 30 liter hard bags at time of first service, a few months ago.

Really need to sell this bike. I have one too many bikes than I need, and I have repairs on a house to make.
Just dropped price, as life happens, & I REALLY need to move this bike.
I'm asking $7000, with the bags.
This bike really is like new - but - you won't be paying for dealer fees, etc.
I will respond to replies with a number, if you'd like to discuss further.
Includes factory 2 year transferable warranty.

So show me what you've got in your local CL. Let's help some inmates find some good deals.

Hi Doc.

I didn't think you existed outside of the who's awake thread.

Now for the most misleading and crappy post I found in the area.

There isn't a single thing here that is a BMW, and how he got it titled as a BMW I don't know. These a Chinese CJ's, bought as kits and imported most likely on the gray market or through one of the many shady importers that try to sell these as "antique" rigs.

http://tulsa.craigslist.org/mcy/4537933289.html

CJ750/1939 BMW Side car Bikes-Plus - $11995 (Mannford, Ok.)

This is a reproduction/restored R71/cj750. 750c.c. twin, less than 400km. on build. Selling from private collection. All the correct emblems and ser. plates, Military Wehrmacht front fender plate. Military deep oil sump, and sump protector skid plate. Title is 1939 BMW. Electric and kick start, new seat covers and tonneau cover for side car. Looks like it just came off the show room floor! Have now added 2 more bjkes. One with side-car, one with out. These bikes are yet to be built, bought at auction, with lots of extra parts. Everything goes! Trades considered. E-mail, or call 918-948-40five7. NO TEXT!!!! Interesting trades considered!

I only lurk around this region when it gets close to vacation time. I suppose I should hang out a bit more, as I am in the area a few times a year.

I had no clue this was an inmate's bike. MrsDonkeys loves the look of the V7, but has never sat on one. Normally that is the deal breaker for her. She's vertically challenged and confused. She likes old school looks, but wants a dual-sport. Throw all that together and we're likely looking at a custom build.

You think a 5'1" gal could touch the ground on that thing?
